JUSTICE S SUNIL DUTT YADAV ORAL ORDER The petitioner has filed the present writ petition calling for records in R.A.(S)No.551/2021 and setting aside the order at Annexure 'C' passed by the Assistant Commissioner. 2. The order at Annexure 'C' is an appeal in respect of incorporation of the name of the petitioner in RTC in terms of the Gift Deed in Sy.No.65/1A of Maragondanhalli Village, Kengeri Hobli, Bengaluru South Taluk. The Assistant Commissioner dismisses the appeal while observing that he has no jurisdiction to entertain the appeal. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:53906 WP No. 33007 of 2025 3. The petitioner's grievance is that petitioner has obtained a Gift Deed from his father in respect of an extent of 1 acre 13 guntas in Sy.No.65/1A of Maragondanahalli Village, Kengeri Hobli, Bengaluru South Taluk and has sought for changes in revenue entries pursuant to such acquisition of title. It is submitted that till date, no action has been taken. 4. Learned Additional Government Advocate upon instructions submits that the petitioner may approach the Tahsildar and furnish necessary documents that has been sought for and the plea of the petitioner would be taken note of. 5. It is to be noticed that in terms of Section 128 of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, once the acquisition of title is reported, action will be taken to effect revenue entries. The Tahsildar is directed to take necessary steps for effecting of mutation in terms of the Gift Deed dated 17.06.2016. The petitioner to file before the Tahsildar a fresh application with all documents. Tahsildar is to take appropriate action within a period not later than three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of the order. 6. Accordingly, petition is disposed off.
