ORDER Date : 05-02-2025 Heard Mr. A Gohain, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. B Kaushik, learned counsel for all the respondents.
2. This contempt petition has been filed due to non-compliance with the order dated 19.01.2017 passed in WP(C) 3183/2008. On 24.01.2025, Mr. R Mazumdar,
learned counsel for the respondents had submitted that a settlement had been arrived at between the parties, wherein the petitioner had been given appointment as Tutor, on the condition that he would forego his claim for payment of arrear salary. Mr. Mazumdar, learned counsel for the respondents had also submitted that he would submit the joining report of the petitioner along with the appointment order.
3. By the order dated 24.01.2025 passed by this Court, Mr. A Gohain, learned counsel for the petitioner was to obtain instructions from the petitioner, as to whether the submission made by the counsel for the respondents was correct or not.
4. Today, Mr. B Kaushik, learned counsel for the respondents has submitted the joining report of the petitioner as Tutor. The appointment order of the petitioner as Tutor has also been produced.
5. Mr. A Gohain, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has informed him that a settlement has been arrived at between the parties, as had been stated by the counsel for the respondents.

6. In view of the fact that a settlement has been arrived at between the parties, as per the submission of the counsels and on perusing the documents submitted by the counsel for the respondents, this contempt petition stands closed.
7. The documents which have been submitted by Mr. B Kaushik, learned counsel for the respondents, through covering letter dated 04.02.2025 issued by the Director, Elementary Education Department, is made a part of the record and marked as Annexure-X collectively.
