Counsel for RR 1 and 2 * * * * * ORDER (Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to enroll the petitioner as an advocate on the roll of the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry by considering his application No.PR/2024/7004 dated 15.04.2024 within a time frame. 2. Learned counsel for the first respondent/Bar Council submitted that the petitioner is not qualified to be enrolled because of certain discrepancies in the qualification. However, he assures this Court that the application of the petitioner shall be considered in accordance with law and a speaking order shall be passed. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the claim of the petitioner, there shall be a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's application dated 15.04.2024 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from today.
