R BALA KRISHNA RAO The Court made the following JUDGMENT: This Criminal Appeal has been preferred by the State against the Judgment dated 22.01.2007 in C.C.No.12 of 2002 by the learned Additional Special Judge for SPE and ACB Cases, City Civil Court, Hyderabad. 2. Based on the application filed by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of 2nd respondent /AO.2, stating that 2nd respondent/AO.2 died, the appeal against 2nd respondent /AO.2 2 was dismissed as abated, vide order of this Court dated 01.08.2008 in Crl.A.M.P.No.1415 of 2008. 3. Today, when the matter came up for hearing, it is submitted by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of 1st respondent / AO.1 that during the pendency of the present appeal, 1st respondent /AO.1 passed away and none of his legal heirs is in contact with him. 4. On the other hand, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the appellant/State submitted that 1st respondent/AO.1 passed away on 18.12.2022 and 2nd respondent/AO.2 passed away on 04.07.2008. He filed a Memo dated 27.03.2025 along with the death certificates of both the respondents 1 and 2/AOs.1 and 2, dated 24.12.2022 issued by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, Malkajgiri Circle and dated 07.07.2008 issued by the Anantapur Municipal Corporation, Anantapur, respectively, showing that the respondents 1 and 2/AOs.1 and 2 died on 18.12.2002 and 04.07.2008 respectively. No application is filed by their LRs to come on record. 5. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, the Criminal Appeal is dismissed as abated. As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Appeal, shall stand closed. ________________________ K. SREENIVASA REDDY, J.
