This petition has been filed by Indian Overseas Bank, seeking a direction to the Debts Recovery Tribunal, Dehradun to decide Securitization Application No. 264 of 2024 expeditiously, within the shortest time. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner drew attention of this Court to the provisions contained under Section 17(5) and Section 17(6) of Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002. Section 17(5) of the Act castes a duty upon the Debts Recovery Tribunal to decide Securitization Application filed under sub-Section (1) within sixty days which may be extended upto four months. 4. Since the statute itself contains that provision, therefore this Court does not deem it proper to issue any direction. 5. Thus writ petition is dismissed with liberty to petitioner, to show the relevant provision to Debts Recovery Tribunal.
