Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Jai Krishna Upadhyay, learned counsel for the respondent no. 2. 2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent no. 3 (Electricity Distribution Company herein) submits that the demand notice dated 24.04.2023 has been withdrawn. He further submits that a revised notice for final assessment has been issued to the petitioner. 3. In light of the above, the petitioner is directed to appear before the authorities and make submissions with regard to the final assessment. 4. Nothing remains in this writ petition as no cause of action survives at present. 5. We state that the letter dated 22.09.2025 which appears to be an amended assessment shall be treated as a notice to the petitioner and thereafter hearing shall be granted to the petitioner as directed above 6.
