1. Writ petition bearing WP(C) No. 2069/2022, titled “Ghulam Mohammad Bhat Vs. UT of JK & Ors.” came to be dismissed for non- prosecution vide order dated 04.06.2025.
2. Subsequently, CM No. 4777/2025 came to be filed for restoration of the said petition. The restoration application is accompanied with an application for condonation of delay, bearing CM No. 4776/2025.
3. Notice was directed to be issued in the COD application vide order dated 01.08.2025. Dasti notice was also permitted to be issued.
4. The Registry has not reported about the status of the service.
5. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that he has taken steps for service pursuant to the order dated 01.08.2025 of this Court.
6. The Registry shall look into the matter and report about the status of the service in the COD application.
CM No. 4777/2025
1. The proceedings in this restoration application shall be subject to the outcome of COD application, bearing CM No, 4776/2025.

1. Through the medium of the instant application, supported with an affidavit, the petitionerseeks grant of interim relief pending restoration of the main petition.
2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and considered his
submissions.
3. Issue notice in this application, returnable by the next date of hearing for filing of objections.
4. List along with COD application on 15.10.2025.
5. In the meantime, subject to any vacation or modification upon the
consideration of objections/arguments of the other side and till next date of hearing before the Bench, the operation of the order dated 7th September, 2022, passed by the Sub Divisional Magistrate, Sumbal, Bandipora, impugned in the main petition sought to be restored shall remain in abeyance.
