Agarwal for the petitioner Raja Chakraborty, who has filed this application under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 with prayer for pre-arrest bail as he is apprehending arrest in connection with Dispur Police Station Case No. 529/2023 under Section 406/506 Page No.# 2/2 of Indian Penal Code, 1860. 2. Heard Mr. K.K. Das, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam. 3. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he has purchased one vehicle from the informant and he has already paid Rs.4,00,000/- (Rupees Four Lacs) in advance and the vehicle was agreed to be sold at Rs.9,00,000/- (Rupees Nine Lacs). Later, the petitioner learnt that the informant had sold the vehicle which was already hypothecated with the Finance Company. 4. It is submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the petitioner has appeared before the Investigating Officer. 5. I have scrutinized the Case Diary. Petitioner’s statement has been recorded. He has not violated any of the bail conditions. 6. Considering all aspects, the interim bail order dated 13.03.2025 is hereby made absolute. 7.
