HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD WRIT - C No. - 30358 of 2025 Court No. - 40 HON'BLE SARAL SRIVASTAVA, J. HON'BLE AMITABH KUMAR RAI, J. 1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for respondent no.1, Sri Shiv Prakash Gupta, learned counsel for respondent no.2 and Ms. Archana Srivastava, Advocate holding brief of Sri Pankaj Srivastava, learned counsel for respondent nos.3 to 5. 2. The petitioner by means of the present writ petition has assailed the Work Order No.169/59 dated 10.07.2025 issued by the Executive Engineer, Construction, Nagar Nigam, Meerut. 3. The case of the petitioner is that by raising construction over the path adjacent to 'Nala', the egress and ingress of the petitioner is hampered, and in such view of the fact, the petitioner would suffer irreparable injury and loss. 4. On a pointed query being raised by the Court to the learned counsel for the petitioner as to whether there is only one passage or there is other passage which petitioner can use for egress and ingress, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is also an alternative passage which can be used for egress and ingress by the petitioner. 5. Since admittedly, there is an alternative passage through which petitioner can use egress and ingress to his house, therefore, the contention raised by the learned counsel for the petitioner against the impugned work order is misconceived. 6. Thus, for the reasons given above, we do not find any merit in the writ Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Dinesh Kumar Tripathi, Pandey Balkrishna Counsel for Respondent(s) : C.S.C., Pankaj Srivastava, Shiv Prakash Gupta Smt. Saroj Singh .....Petitioner(s) State Of Uttar Pradesh And 4 Others .....Respondent(s) petition and consequently, the writ petition is dismissed with no order as to costs.
