The case of the petitioner is that he purchased a property at Plot No. 65, Lakshmi Nagar, Palur Village, Chengalpattu Taluk, Chengalpattu District, measuring an extent of 2,000 sq.ft. Upon verification of the registered title deeds, it was revealed that a significant portion of the petitioner’s land, measuring 1,194 sq.ft., was incorrectly recorded under S.F.No. 2143/1A1B instead of the correct S.F.No. 2142. The petitioner submitted a detailed representation dated 14.11.2024 requesting the authorities to take necessary steps to rectify the said typographical error in the revenue records. As the said representation has not been considered to date, the petitioner has been constrained to approach this Court. 3. There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. 4. However, the learned Government Counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner’s representation dated 14.11.2024 will be disposed of by the 1st respondent within a period of four weeks. 4. In view of the above, this Court directs the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 14.11.2024 on its own merits and dispose of the same in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 6.
