BEFORE HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE MANISH CHOUDHURY ORDER Date : 08-05-2025 Heard Mr. S. Sahu, learned counsel for the petitioners; Mr. A. Bhattacharjee, learned Standing Counsel, Revenue & Disaster Management Department for the respondent no. 1; and Mr. N. Das, learned Junior Government Advocate, Assam for the respondent nos. 2 & 3. Mr. Sahu, learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners have already been provided with a hard copy of the registered sale deed in terms of the Notification bearing no. E-557775/2024-A dated 02.05.2025 and as such, the petitioners have no surviving cause of action to pursue further with the writ petition. Mr. Bhattacharjee and Mr. Das have both submitted that there is provision for a hard copy of the registered sale deed in the Notification dated 02.05.2025. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the parties, the writ petition is closed as the petitioners have already been granted relief, sought for in the writ petition.
