HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD WRIT - C No. - 32398 of 2025 Court No. - 34 HON'BLE ROHIT RANJAN AGARWAL, J. 1. This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "a) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of CERTIORARI, calling for the record to quash/set aside the order dated 07.05.2024 passed by respondent no. 4 by which the order has been passed in favour of the private respondents without hearing the bonafide party i.e. petitioners. b) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of MANDAMUS, directing the respondents (especially respondent no. 4) not to give effect the order dated 07.05.2024 without hearing the restoration application of the petitioners as soon as possible within stipulate period fixed by this Hon'ble Court, in the interest of the justice." 2. It is contended that against the order passed in proceedings under Section 24 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006, a restoration application is pending consideration. The sole prayer made is for disposal of the same. 3. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, the writ petition is being disposed of, without calling for counter affidavit, with a direction to the authority concerned to decide the restoration application filed by the petitioner, in accordance with law, after hearing all affected parties, preferably within a period of one month from the date of production of certified copy of this order. 4. With the aforesaid directions, writ petition stands disposed of. 5. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the matter on merits. September 17, 2025 A. V.
