Petitioner’s case is that he is serving as Lecturer (Chemistry) at Government Senior Secondary School, Malal, District Chamba, which according to him falls under hard area under the applicable policy guidelines. On completion of prescribed tenure at the aforesaid areas, he had preferred a representation on 03.02.2025 (Annexure P-1) to respondent No.2 seeking transfer to a soft area of his choice. Yes -2- grievance is that aforesaid representation has not been decided by respondent No.2/competent authority till date. 3. Looking to the nature of the grievance raised in this writ petition, it would in the interest of justice to direct respondent No.2/competent authority to consider and decide the aforesaid representation (Annexure P-1) of the petitioner in accordance with law and as per applicable policy within a period of four weeks from today. Ordered accordingly. The order so passed be also communicated to the petitioner. The writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms.
