With consent, the main Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the stage of admission itself. 2. This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the Petitioner's representation dated 26.05.2025 within a stipulated time period fixed by this Court and further direct the 2nd respondent to pay appropriate compensation for the acquired portion of the land for the construction of the road in S.F.No.183/3A 2A at Kattupakkam Village, Thiruvallur District. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the aforesaid land belonged to the petitioner and the 2nd respondent acquired the said land for the purpose of construction of road. Further, he would submit that though the aforesaid land was acquired for construction of road, appropriate compenstion has not been paid to the petitioner till date. In this regard, he submitted a representation dated 26.05.2025 to the 2nd respondent. As the same did not evoke any response, the petitioner had come forward with this writ petition seeking for the aforesaid relief. 4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the 2/5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.No.32807 of 2024 respondents would submit that the 2nd respondent will pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 26.05.2025, on merits and in accordance with law, within the stipulated period. 5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 26.05.2025 on merits and in accordance with law, and after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as to the parties concerned, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner. 6. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. 7.
