The instant petition has been filed praying for writ of mandamus commanding respondents no.2 and 3 to pay due compensation alongwith interest to the petitioners for Plot No. 1232/0.194 Hectare, Gata No. 1743, 1758/2417 and 1757/2806, Village- Pahilepur Ranipur Rajmo, Tehsil Menh Nagar, District- Azamgarh acquired by the State for the construction of National Highway No. 233 (Azamgarh to Varanasi), within specific period. 2. Learned Standing Counsel has placed on record the instructions received from the Competent Authority according to which compensation for Plot No. 1758/2417 area 0.0767 hectare, would be paid to the petitioners as soon as the same is received from the acquiring body i.e., National Highway Authority of India. In respect of other plots, various others pleas have been taken but which are not being noted herein as learned counsel for the petitioners confined his prayer to Plot No. 1758/2417. 3. Accordingly, we dispose of the instant petition by providing that the petitioners shall approach respondent no.3 in respect of his claim for Plot No. 1758/2417 area 0.0767 hectare, Village- Pahilepur Ranipur Rajmo, Tehsil Menh Nagar, District- Azamgarh, with fresh representation and in which event respondent no.3 will take appropriate steps in relation to the claim of the petitioners within next four weeks.
