This writ petition has been filed seeking following relief :- "a).issue a writ or direction in the nature of mandamus direction against the respondent no.2 (Tahsildar Maharajganj) Tahsil to decide the case No.64/1997 (Sursati Vs. Israwati) Under Section 201 U.P. Revenue Code relating to Mauja/Village Rehra, Tappa Sirsiya, Pargana Vinayakpur, Tahsil Nautanwa, District Maharajganj forthwith within stipulated period as directed by this Hon'ble Court." 3. From perusal of the record, it is apparent that restoration application filed by the petitioner under Section 201 of the U.P. Land Revenue Act was allowed by the Tehsildar by its order dated 27.6.1998 and the mutation case was restored. Since then, mutation case is pending and has not been decided till date. 4. Since the above-mentioned case is pending, no useful purpose would be served in keeping this petition pending. 5. In view of the above, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to decide the above-mentioned case, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within four months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order, after ensuring service of notice upon all the respondents and providing opportunity of hearing to all the concerned parties as well as giving a reasonable opportunity of leading evidence in respect of their case provided there is no other legal impediment.
