2. This anticipatory bail application under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, has been preferred by the petitioner apprehending his arrest in connection with Namkum P.S. Case No. 159 of 2023, for offences registered under Sections 409, 420 & 120B of the Indian Penal Code. The case is pending presently in the court of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Ranchi.
3. The allegation against the petitioner is that he being the salesman of the Government liquor shop along with two others misappropriated a sum of Rs.29,61,645/-. It is alleged that this petitioner and the others used to siphon money from time to time and this fact has been surfaced during conciliation of the books.
4. Considering the direct nature of allegation, this case is not fit for grant of anticipatory bail.
5. Accordingly, this anticipatory bail application stands dismissed.
