Present civil writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to grant the gratuity and other retiral benefits to the petitioner by considering the date of his appointment as 01.01.1987 instead of 04.12.1996 and further to issue a direction to the respondents to decide the legal notice dated 01.07.2025 (Annexure P-3). 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if the legal notice dated 01.07.2025 (Annexure P-3) submitted by him is decided by respondent No.4 by passing a speaking order in a time bound manner. Further, the decision taken on the legal notice dated 01.07.2025 (Annexure P-3) shall be conveyed to the petitioner. 7.
