HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD WRIT - C No. - 30066 of 2025 Court No. - 77 HON'BLE SAURABH SRIVASTAVA, J. 1. Heard learned counsel for petitioners and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents. 2. By way of the present writ petition, a direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents not to interfere in peaceful live-in/marital life of petitioners, has been sought. 3. At the very outset, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel raised preliminary objection regarding maintainability of the instant petition on the ground that although petitioners have solemnized their marriage but they have not applied online to get their marriage registered and as such, present petition may be dismissed as not maintainable. 4. Learned counsel for petitioners has not disputed the fact that petitioners have not applied online to get their marriage registered. 5. In view thereof, the present petition stands dismissed at this stage. 6. However, it is made clear that if petitioners applied online for seeking registration of their marriage, they will be at liberty to approach this Court for the same prayer as sought through the instant petition.
