ORDER The allegation in this case is that on 21.02.2020, the accused persons, under the leadership of P.R.Pandian and Bakery Bala @ Krishnan, staged a road blockade near PNR Mines on the V.Kaikatti-Ariyalur Road without permission, thereby causing obstruction to traffic. 2. It is clear that the occurrence was in the nature of a protest and no serious offence is made out. In any event, the accused have been facing proceedings since 2020. Any further continuance of trial would only impinge upon the right to speedy trial .

For all the above reasons, the proceedings in S.T.C.No.220 of 2021 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court No. I, Ariyalur Taluk, Ariyalur stand quashed and this Suo Motu Transfer Case stands disposed of. 21.08.2025 nsl Note to the Trial Court: This order is digitally signed and communicated electronically alone.
