Heard the counsel for the petitioner and the AGA for the State respondents. The present petition has been filed for the following relief:- "(1) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of CERTIORARI quashing the impugned F.I.R. dated 17.08.2025, which has been registered as Case Crime No.0480 of 2025, under Sections 191(2), 191(3), 109(1), 3(5) BNS, Police Station- Sarai Khwaja, District- Jaunpur. (ii) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of MANDAMUS directing to the respondent authorities not to arrest and harass the petitioner in pursuance of the alleged impugned F.I.R. dated 17.08.2025, which has been registered as Case Crime No.0480 of 2025, under Sections 191(2), 191(3), 109(1), 3(5) BNS, Police Station- Sarai Khwaja, District-Jaunpur." A perusal of the First Information Report discloses commission of offence in the above case. In view of the aforesaid, no case for quashing the first information report is made out.
