Status report by way of an affidavit of Jasbinder Singh, PPS, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Industrial Area-A, Ludhiana has been filed on behalf of respondents No.1 to 4 and the same is taken on record. It has been submitted in the status report that during inquiry conducted on the application of petitioner No.1, apprehending danger from private respondents, statement of petitioner No.1 was recorded, who stated that regarding his grievance, FIR No.57 dated 26.03.2025, under Sections 115(2), 126(2), 351(2), 3(5) of BNS, at Police Station Moti Nagar, Ludhiana has already been registered and that now the petitioners have no threat from the private respondents. Copy of said statement of petitioner No.1 signed by both the petitioners has also been appended with the status report. So, when the statements have already been suffered by the petitioners that now they have no apprehension from the private respondents, the present petition has become infructuous.
