Respondent For Petitioner : Mr.S.Sugendran Additional Public Prosecutor ORDER The allegation in this case is that on 26.06.2017, when the defacto complainant and L.W.2 were relieving themselves in a public pathway, the accused abused them in filthy language and attacked them. A1, being a juvenile, was dealt with under appropriate provisions and was acquitted. The case is now pending only against A2 and A3. Despite best efforts, summons have not been served for the past 8 years. Considering the nature of the allegations, even if summons are served in the future, the same would violate the right to a speedy trial of the accused. 3. Accordingly, the proceedings in C.C.No.100171 of 2018 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court No. I, Jayamkondam Taluk, Ariyalur stand quashed and this Suo Motu Transfer Case stands disposed of. 21.08.2025 nsl Note to the Trial Court: This order is digitally signed and communicated electronically alone.
