The petitioner joined the service of the respondent corporation on 25.09.1979. After rendering 35 years of service, the petitioner retired from the service on 31.08.2014. The petitioner would submit that the respondent failed to settle the amounts due towards earned leave. In this regard the petitioner sent a representation on 03.12.2024 to the respondent. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in the light of the fact that the respondent has acknowledged the due amount to the petitioner vide RTI, the respondent is directed to disburse the due amounts within a period of 1 month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5. The Writ Petition is allowed with the above observation.
