The petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: A. Issue a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the R2 to consider the petitioner’s application/representation dated 14.10.2025 at Annexure-A B. Award the costs of this petition; and C. Such other and further relief as may be just and necessary in the interest of justice. 2. The petitioner having made an application to Respondent No.2 for furnishing of certain documents on 14.10.2025 is before this Court contending that the said application has not been considered and documents have not been issued to the petitioner. 3. Whenever any application is made to a State Authority for furnishing of any documents, it is but - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:43283 WP No. 32392 of 2025 required for the State authority to pass necessary orders on the said application either accepting or rejecting the said application. Needless to say, if an order of rejection has been passed, it should be accompanied by reasons. Neither having been done, I pass the following: ORDER i) The Writ Petition is allowed. ii) A mandamus is issued directing Respondent No.2 to consider the application/representation of the petitioner dated 14.10.2025 at Annexure-A and pass necessary orders within 30 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
