The petitioner is repeatedly calling for Madanapalle I Town Police Station, Annamayya District. It is submitted that the police are calling the petitioner for investigation in relation to Crime No.135 of 2024 which was registered on 22.07.2024 for an accidental fire which happened in the office of Sub-Collector, Madanapalle. The learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner has no role in the alleged incident. 2. The learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for the respondent Nos.2 to 4 submits that the petitioner is required for the purpose of investigation and that he is a potential witness and the summons were issued to the petitioner for recording his evidence only. However, the petitioner is not appearing before the Police. 3. Considering submissions made by the learned Assistant Government Pleader that the petitioner is only a witness and the concerned respondent shall issue necessary notice to the petitioner for recording his statement as a witness. 4.
