The present writ petition has been filed praying for a writ of mandamus directing respondent No. 3, Superintendent of Police, Sonbhadra, to decide the application of the petitioner dated 01.05.2023. 2. In the said application, the petitioner has stated that the petitioner is Gram Pradhan and Panchayat Bhawan is being constructed over Araji No. 1717 recorded as banzar in the revenue records. On 17.02.2025, the SHO, Rampur, Barkonia along with four constables came to the site and stopped the construction work. The petitioner has requested that appropriate directions be issued to SHO in this behalf. 3. On query made by the Court to counsel for the petitioner as regards resolution/permission on basis of which the Panchayat Bhawan is being constructed, he is unable to show any such permission/resolution. 4. In such view of the matter, we are not inclined to issue any direction, as prayed for. We leave it open to the petitioner to seek redressal in such manner as may be advised. 5.
