Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned counsel for the respondent no.4, learned AGA for the State and perused the record. 2. Pursuant to the order dated 27.08.2025, the corpus petitioner no. 1 (corpus) has been produced before this Court. 3. Upon a query being made by the Court, petitioner no.1 (corpus) has stated that she is major aged 21 years and has performed marriage with petitioner no.2 and wishes to reside with him. Further, she has stated that she has been kept under illegal confinement by respondent no. 4. 4. Considering the statement of the corpus, wherein she has expressed her willingness to reside with petitioner no.2, this Court finds it appropriate, keeping in view her welfare, to direct that the custody of the corpus be handed over to petitioner no.2, Nitin Kumar (husband of the corpus). 5. With the aforesaid direction, the petition is disposed of. 6. The direction contained in the order dated 27.8.2025 requiring the petitioner no.2 to deposit a sum of Rs. 50,000/- by way of demand draft in favour of petitioner no.1 is hereby dispensed with.
