The petitioner claims to be in long-standing possession and enjoyment of agricultural land in Survey No.206, Nalkudalahalli Village, Pappireddipatti Taluk, Dharmapuri District, measuring an extent of 2 ½ acres, inherited through his forefathers for over three generations. According to the petitioner, only a small portion of the land is classified as Varri Poramboke, whereas the Panchayat road has been laid in the said poramboke without proper classification of the land. __________ Page2 of 5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 11742 of 2025 3. The petitioner submitted a representation dated 19.08.2024 to the first respondent seeking appropriate action. Despite furnishing all relevant documents, no action has been taken by the respondents. Aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the authorities, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition to consider and dispose of his representation in accordance with law. 4. Mr.C.Prabakaran, learned Government Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation of the petitioner dated 19.08.2024 would be considered by the 4th respondent, who is the authority competent, and appropriate orders would be passed on merits and in accordance with law. 5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on either side, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the 4th respondent to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 19.08.2024 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law after issuing notice to the petitioner and affording him an opportunity of personal hearing, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. __________ Page3 of 5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 11742 of 2025 6.
