The instant writ petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the Judge, Small Cause Court, Varanasi to consider and decide the S.C.C. Suit No.29/2016 (Manoj Mehrotra vs. Gayatri Devi), expeditiously. 3. Counsel for the petitioner states that the aforementioned S.C.C. Suit filed on behalf of the plaintiff-petitioner is pending since 2016. He further submitted that earlier the petition under Article 227 No. 5777 of 2018 was filed before this Court which was disposed of vide order dated 18.6.2018, directing the Judge, Small Cause Court, Varanasi to decide the suit expeditiously. He submitted that inspite of the order passed by this Court, the aforementioned suit has not been decided till date. He further placed the order-sheet of the pending proceeding which has been annexed as Annexure No.10 to the writ petition, in order to demonstrate that the matter has not been decided even after expiry of about 9 years. 4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this petition is disposed of with the direction to Judge, Small Cause Court, Varanasi to decide the aforesaid S.C.C. Suit to its logical conclusion, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of 6 weeks, from Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Dr. Amar Nath Singh, Mohammad Waseem Counsel for Respondent(s) : Manoj Kumar Mehrotra .....Petitioner(s) Smt.
