The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with R.C. 05(A)/2012-AHD-R, for offence registered under section 420, 423, 424, 467, 468, 469, 471, 477-A, 120B, 109, 201 IPC and section 13(2) r/w 13(1)(d) of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, pending in court of learned Additional Judicial Commissioner-XVIII-cum Spl. Judge, CBI, Ranchi.

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the petitioner is not charge sheeted however the learned court differing with the charge sheet has taken cognizance. He submits that the case is arising out of First Combined Services Examination conducted by the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC). He submits that other co-accused persons have been granted anticipatory bail in A.B.A. No.1707 of 2025 and other 20 cases and the persons granted anticipatory bail have also been charge sheeted, or not charge sheeted, they have been granted anticipatory bail.

Learned counsel for the respondent CBI opposes prayer and

submits that learned court has rightly taken cognizance, however, he is not disputing the fact that other co-accused persons have been granted anticipatory bail.
5. In view of above and considering that charge sheet has already been submitted and there is no chance of tampering with the evidence by the petitioner and the learned court differing with the charge sheet has taken cognizance, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to petitioner.

Accordingly, petitioner, above named, is hereby directed to surrender before learned court within three weeks from today, and in event of his surrender/arrest, petitioner, above named, shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand), with two sureties of like amount each, to satisfaction of learned Additional Judicial Commissioner-XVIII-cum Spl. Judge, CBI, Ranchi, in connection with R.C. 05(A)/2012-AHD-R, subject to the conditions as laid down under section 482(2) of Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023.
