This Court, vide order dated 27.03.2024, passed in MCRC No. 1983 of 2024, while allowing the bail to the applicant, namely, Manmath Bishwas, had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. Earlier on one occasion also this Court had granted extension of time for compliance of the order dated 27.03.2024 KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 4. The learned Special Judge (NDPS Act), Raipur District-Raipur (C.G) vide his request letter dated 31.01.2025 has requested for grant of some more time for concluding the trial. 5. It transpires from perusal of the PUD that in this case, the prosecution's evidence was completed and the accused’s statement was scheduled from 27.01.2025. However, on January 30, 2025, Manmath Vishwas failed to appear, resulting in the issuance of a warrant for his arrest. The case has been adjourned to February 20, 2025, for his presence. Due to Manmath Vishwas's absence and the issuance of an arrest warrant against him, the case has been delayed and it is likely to take some time for its conclusion. Therefore, she prays for grant of further more time for concluding the trial. 6. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of four months from today. 7. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 8.
