Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has stated that though the authorities have paid the admitted dues to the petitioner but the same is without interest. Learned counsel has stated that the works were completed on 11.05.2022 but the payments were made on 15.02.2025. Learned counsel has stated that a direction may be given for imposing interest on the delayed payment.
2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents, on the other hand, has stated that the petitioner himself has given an undertaking stating that he will not be

Having regard to the same, the present writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to make a suitable application/representation to the authority concerned for payment of interest. In case, any such application/representation being made, the authority concerned shall consider the same strictly in accordance with law.
4. With the above directions, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
