Heard Sri Akhilesh Kumar Mishra, learned counsel for applicant and learned AGA for State. 2. I have perused the status report dated 18.09.2025. It appears that PW-2 has been cross examined by applicant and other accused persons at length as it is continued for last 6 dates. The details of cross examination are not placed on record by applicant. 3. In the order sheet, it also comes that said witness has asked for police protection, therefore, likelihood that applicant, if released on bail, may extend threat to witnesses cannot be ruled out as well as applicant is in jail since 14.02.2021 i.e. 4 years and 7 months as well as Court also takes note that applicant is behind bars for a serious offence of robbery and murder. 4. Therefore, this Court does not find any ground to release the applicant on bail at this stage. Accordingly, bail application is rejected. 5. However, it is observed that trial Court will take all endeavour to conclude the trial expeditiously within 6 months, as mentioned in status report and the applicant will also try to complete cross examination as early as possible.
