Order Heard Mr.P.Thirumalai, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4. Since the Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the stage of admission and considering the nature of relief to be granted herein, notice to the fifth respondent is dispensed with.
2. This Writ Petition is filed seeking for issuance of a mandamus directing the fourth respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.08.2025 to measure the survey number 167/37 in kalathampattu village Melmalaiyanur Taluk, Villupuram District . 2/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner along with his mother and brother are in peaceful possession and enjoyment of the subject property (morefully described in para No.2 of this order); that since the fifth respondent has been disturbing their peaceful possession, the petitioner made a representation to the fourth respondent on 04.08.2025 seeking for survey and demarcation of the property, however, as on date, no action has been taken by the fourth respondent with regard to such representation, which necessitated the petitioner to approach this Court by way of present Writ Petition seeking for aforesaid relief.
4. Learned Government Advocate for respondents 1 to 4 fairly submitted that the prayer sought for by the petitioner would be considered and appropriate steps would be taken by the respondents-Authorities within four weeks, if a direction is issued in that regard.
5. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel on either side, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the fourth respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner dated 3/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
W.P.No.32642 of 2025 04.08.2025 and take suitable steps for conducting a survey in the petitioner's property by taking measurement and demarcate the same by marking its boundaries as per applicable revenue rules and regulations after giving notice to all the interested parties, particularly, fifth respondent within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to say, in the event, any obstruction is being caused by any third parties, the Official Respondents are at liberty to seek the assistance of the Police Officials, in which case, the concerned Jurisdictional Police is
directed to render all kinds of assistance, as required, by the Revenue Officials for demarcation of the subject property. No costs.
