(ORAL) An ejectment peon filed under Secon 13 of the East Punjab Urban Rent Restricon Act, 1949 filed by landlord-Shree Sanatan Dharam Sabha (respondent herein) against tenant-Manav Garg (peoner herein) is pending before learned Rent Controller, Bathinda. 2. During the proceedings, respondent-tenant moved an applicaon requesng the Rent Controller to summon the original file of Rent Peon No.85 of 2015, lying a4ached with Rent Appeal No.31 of 2023 tled as ‘Sunil Kumar Vs. SSD Sabha’ pending in the Court of learned Addional District Sessions Judge, Bathinda, to enable the said tenant to get the documents lying therein confronted to Mr.Abhey Kumar Singla who was appearing for the peoner-landlord-Sabha. The said applicaon was declined by way of the impugned order dated 05.09.2024, which has been assailed before this Court. 3. Today, Mr. Binderjit Singh, Advocate has put in appearance and filed his power of a4orney on behalf of the respondent, which is taken on record. 4. Learned counsel for both the pares have been heard. 5. Ejectment was sought on the ground of bona fide necessity. The peoner-tenant wants to confront Mr.Abhey Kumar Singla with certain statement which is made by him in the Rent Peon No.85 of 2015.
