For Petitioner : Mr.V.Shenaz For Respondent : Mr.A.Gopinath Government Advocate (Crl.side) O R D E R The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 26.06.2025, for the offence punishable under Sections 409, 467, 468, 471, 420 IPC, in Crime No.94 of 2025, registered on the file of the respondent, seeks bail. 1/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis Crl.O.P.No.23398 of 2025 2.It is a serious bank fraud case wherein it is alleged that Rs.4,36,70,000/- (Indian Rupees Four Crores Thirty-Six Lakhs Seventy Thousand Only) has been misappropriated by the petitioner in connivance with other accused. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police opposed for grant of bail on the ground that some of the accused have absconding. The money misappropriated by falsification of document been diverted to merely twenty bank accounts but the petitioner had cleverly siphoned those money and secreted elsewhere and so far money could not be recovered.
