The petitioner seeking for the following relief: To direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to take appropriate action to consider and dispose of the application preferred by the petitioner in Application No.2022/06/08075, dated 14.06.2022, based on the representation submitted by the petitioner on 15.07.2025 and grant the necessary approval for the construction of a residential building on the petitioner's property situated in Survey No.246/1A1A1A3, Kotagiri Revenue Village, The Nilgiris District. 3. The petitioner has a property situated at Kotagiri Revenue 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis Writ Petition No.32817 of 2025 Village, Nilgiris District in S.No.246/1A1A1A3. The petitioner filed an application before the second respondent seeking approval for construction of a residential building. 4. The application had to be processed by several departments. The Department of Geology and Mining granted approval on 06.12.2022. The Forest Department granted approval on 31.03.2023. The Department of Agricultural Engineering gave their approval on 17.08.2023. Despite these clearances, respondents 1 and 2 have not passed any final order on the application filed by the petitioner. Hence, he gave two representations dated 24.06.2025 and 15.07.2025, drawing their attention to the delay and prejudice caused to him. As there was no response from the first respondent, he has been constrained to file the present writ petition. 5.
