1. The contempt petition has been filed for deliberate and intentional disobedience of order dated 23.05.2025 passed in CRWP-5327-
2025.
2. The relevant portion of the order dated 23.05.2025 is reproduced as under:-
“5. After considering the rival contentions and considering the limited request made by learned counsel for the petitioner and without commenting on the merits of the case, the petition is disposed of with the direction to respondent No.2- Divisional Commissioner, Division Faridabad, District Faridabad, to consider and dispose of the representation dated 20.03.2025 (Annexure P-1) in accordance with law in an expeditious manner preferably within a period of 03 weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.” MOHD AYUB 2025.08.28 10:54 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of State contends that in compliance of order dated 23.05.2025, short reply by way of an affidavit of Mr. Sanjay Joon, IAS, Commissioner, Faridabad Division, Faridabad, dated 22.08.2025 has been filed along with Annexure R-1 and R-2, which is attached with the present petition.
4. The relevant paras of affidavit dated 22.08.2025, are reproduced as under:-
“4. That in compliance of order dated 23/05/2025, the representation of the petitioner was considered and the petitioner was granted regular parole of 10 weeks vide
order dated 05/06/2025 in accordance with the provisions of Haryana Good Conduct Prisoners (Temporary Release) Act, 2022. The Warrant for the temporary release is attached as Annexure R-1.
5. That SDM (Saket) vide letter dated 15/07/2025 requested the office of undersigned to reconsider the approval of parole for temporary release of the petitioner. However, the office of undersigned vide letter dated 11/08/2025 directed SDM (Saket) to execute the warrant for the temporary release of prisoner citing detailed reasonable grounds. The copy of letter dated 15/07/2025 and 11/08/2025 are attached as Annexure R-2 and R-3.
6. That the office of undersigned also vide letter dated 18/08/2025 requested SDM (Saket) to take the requisite steps in view of contempt petition filed by the petitioner/prisoner. The copy of letter dated 18/08/2025 is attached as Annexure R-4.
7. That subsequently the petitioner /prisoner has been released on 20/08/2025 for 10 weeks parole in pursuance of warrant of release issued by this office. The certificate of conditional release is attached as Annexure R-5.” MOHD AYUB 2025.08.28 10:54 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment.

5. A perusal of above shows that order dated 23.05.2025, passed by this Court in CRWP-5327-2025, has been complied with.
6. In view of the above, the contempt is purged and rule is discharged. August 27th, 2025
