AMARNATH GOUD ORDER 10.07.2025 [1] Heard learned counsel for the respective parties. [2] This present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following reliefs:- “ It is, therefore, humbly prayed that Your Lordships would graciously be pleased to issue Rule upon the Respondents to show cause as to why the Respondents should not transmit all records relating to the case of the Petitioner AND As to why a writ in the nature of mandamus should not be issued directing the respondents release outstanding flood damage repair bill amounting to Rs. 13,40,621/- along with 12% interest from the date of completion of work in favour of the petitioner in respect of construction and maintenance work of road from DM Para to Malakuithi Para under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yogna, Teliamura Block- West Tripura District, Package No.11, DPR No.TR-01-173, Link No. (L046). AND As to why such other order/orders should not be passed so as to give full relief to the Petitioner and, upon causes shown, to make the Rule absolute.” [3] After perusal of the record, it is seen that the petitioner herein has approached the concerned respondents by a legal notice dated 03.12.2024 ventilating his grievances. It is also placed on record that after filing of the writ petition communication letter in the form of reply dated 13.03.2025 has been made. But, the petitioner has not got any relief till now. [4] In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this present writ petition is disposed of directing the concerned respondents to expedite the matter and take a decision at the earliest, in accordance with law. With the above observation and direction, this present writ petition stands disposed of. As a sequel, miscellaneous application(s), pending if any, shall stand closed.
