The present writ petition has been filed praying for a writ of mandamus commanding the State-respondents to release the payment of Rs.20,07,303/- in favour of the petitioner for having allegedly supplied goods to them in pursuance of work orders dated 28.07.2020. 2. On a query made by the court from counsel for the petitioner, as to whether there is any admission of the said claim, he fairly states that there is no such material. As the claim is quite old, and there is also no material to indicate that the claim is admitted, therefore, we decline to examine the admissibility of the claim in exercise of writ jurisdiction. We leave it open to the petitioner to avail remedy, if any, provided under the agreement or under common law. 3. The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly.
