THIS WRIT PETITION IS COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING, THIS DAY, ORDER WAS MADE THEREIN AS UNDER: CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE R DEVDAS ORAL ORDER Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the order dated 26.05.2015 passed by the respondent-Deputy Commissioner, Mysuru District, in RRT Nos.540/2014-15, 541/2014-15 and 542/2014-15 were challenged in a batch of writ petitions in W.P.Nos.22658-22662/2015 and connected matters and this Court by order dated 19.06.2020 set aside the said order. 2. It is noticeable that while setting aside the order dated 26.05.2015, this Court had clearly directed that consequent to setting aside of the orders passed by the Deputy Commissioner, the revenue entries including - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:36100 WP No. 26425 of 2025 mutation wherever effected in the name of ‘Government’ pursuant to the orders of the Deputy Commissioner were directed to be removed. This would mean that there was no need for such petitioners to once again approach this Court seeking similar orders. Despite the same, it is alleged that the respondent-authorities are not implementing the orders passed by this Court and the entry ‘Government’ insofar as the land in question i.e., agricultural land bearing plot No.15 in Sy.No.4/P31 (formerly Sy.No.4, Block Nos.6 and 7), situated at Kurubarahalli village, Kasaba Hobli, Mysuru Taluk, measuring 11 Guntas, have not been removed. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that despite the petitioner requesting the respondent-authorities to remove the entry ‘Government’ from the RTC insofar as the land in question is concerned, the respondent-revenue authorities are not obliging. Therefore, learned Counsel for the petitioner prays similar relief as was granted to the - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:36100 WP No. 26425 of 2025 petitioners in W.P.Nos.22658-22662/2015 and connected matters. 3. Accepting the submission of the learned Counsel for the petitioner and having regard to the orders passed by this Court as noticed hereinabove, the writ petition stands disposed of while directing the respondent- Tahsildar, Mysuru Taluk, to verify from the records about the genuineness of case of the petitioner, remove the entry ‘Government’ in Column No.11 of the RTC of the lands in question, and thereafter, enter the name of the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4. It is noticeable that although a specific direction is given by this Court vide order dated 19.06.2020 in the operative portion at Clause (a) that consequent to setting aside of the impugned orders, the revenue entries including mutation wherever effected in the name of ‘Government’ pursuant to the orders passed by the Deputy - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:36100 WP No. 26425 of 2025 Commissioner were expressly set aside, persons like the petitioners are approaching this Court to seek similar orders. This practice is required to be deprecated. The Deputy Commissioner, Mysuru District, is once again reminded of the orders passed by this Court and he shall ensure that no such persons will approach this Court alleging that the unauthorized entry made in the land records are not being removed pursuant to the orders passed by this Court.
