IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI B.A. No. 2363 of 2025 Shahwan Ansari @ Sahwan Ansari, aged about 36 years S/o Babujan Mian, Resident of village- Bandar Chuwa, P.O. & P.S. Narayanpur, District- Jamtara. … … Petitioner - Versus - The State of Jharkhand ... … Opposite Party ------ CORAM: - HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE AMBUJ NATH ----- For the Petitioner: M/s. Randhir Kumar Vishwakarma, Advocate For the State : M/s. Rakesh Kumar Sinha, A.P.P --- 02/25.03.2025 Heard the Parties. Petitioner has been made an accused in connection with Jamtara P.S. Case No. 04/2025, registered under Sections 317 (4) of the B.N.S., pending in the Court of learned C.J.M., Jamtara. On 08.01.2025 at about 02:30 P.M., Jamtara police apprehended the petitioner while he was going on a stolen motorcycle. It appears that on his confession two other stolen motorcycles were recovered. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the petitioner is accused in as many as three cases of similar nature. Learned lawyer for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has been acquitted in one of the case and in another cases, he is on bail. Regard being had to the facts and circumstance of the case and considering the nature of allegation and criminal antecedent of the petitioner; I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail is hereby rejected. The petitioner, if so, advised may renew his prayer for bail after six months. (Ambuj Nath, J.) Saurabh uploaded
