JUSTICE ASHOK S.KINAGI - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:53994 WP No. 22611 of 2025 ORAL ORDER The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking a mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.07.2023 vide Annexure-C. 2. Brief facts leading rise to the filing of this writ petition are as follows: 2.1. The petitioner retired from the service of the respondent-Corporation, who was relieved from service on attaining the age of superannuation. His service and increment sanctioning due dates are mentioned below: Sl. No. Petitioner's Name Date of last increment sanctioned Date of retirement Due date of increment 1. G. Narayanappa, Senior Assistant 01.04.2011 31.03.2012 01.04.2012 2.2. He has rendered full and continuous years of service before retirement, the increment for the said period has not been sanctioned. He submitted a representation requesting for sanction of his annual - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:53994 WP No. 22611 of 2025 increment for the last year of service rendered by him. Respondent No.2 has not passed any order on the representations submitted by the petitioners. Hence, this writ petition. 3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and also learned counsel for the respondents. 5. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that, if reasonable time is granted, respondent No.2 would consider Annexure-C, and would pass an appropriate order in accordance with law. 6. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for respondent No.2, I proceed to pass the following: ORDER i. The writ petition is allowed; ii. Respondent No.2 is directed to consider Annexure-C in terms of the order passed by the Hon’ble Apex Court in - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:53994 WP No. 22611 of 2025 SLP(C) No.6185/2020, disposed of on 11.04.2023, and pass an appropriate order in accordance with law within 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order; iii.
