The petitioner has filed the instant petition under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 seeking quashing of FIR No.265 dated 07.11.2023 registered under Sections 498-A & 406 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 at Police Station City-2, Mansa along with all consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise dated 01.07.2025 arrived at between the parties. 2. After arguing the case for sometime, learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file fresh one on the same cause of action with better particulars on behalf of both the accused i.e. petitioner and his mother-Hardeep Kaur. 3.
