The present writ petition is filed challenging the inaction on part of the 3rd respondent in changing the provision of law under Section 118(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Samhita, 2023, in Crime No.282/2024, dated 20.09.2024, on the file of Mylavaram Police Station, NTR District. 2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners were beaten up and they have got treated at Sri Sunrise Hospitals, Vijayawada on 22.09.2024. The wound certificate issued by the attending doctor has certified the injuries as grievous in nature. 3. The learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing for the State submitted that the police have completed investigation and the petitioners were admitted to Community Health Centre, Mylavaram, for treatment and the medical officer who treated them had issued a wound certificate. The investigation has been completed considering the wound certificate issued by the medical officer who treated the petitioners. 4. It is also submitted that the petitioners did not disclose the treatment given to them at Sri Sunrise Hospitals. 5. It is also submitted that the charge sheet has been placed before the Court and the learned Magistrate, did not take any cognizance of the same. 6. Considering the same, no further orders need to be passed in this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of, leaving it open to the 3 W.P. No.5337 of 2025 petitioners to take steps before the learned Judicial I Class Magistrate, Mylavaram. 7. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no orders as to costs.
