No one has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioner even in the second round. 2. It would reveal from the contents of the writ petition that the petitioner has challenged orders dated 21.06.2001 and 26.07.2001 whereby, the petitioner was superannuated treating his date of birth as 07.06.1941. 3. It has been contended in the writ petition that in fact, date of birth of the petitioner was 28.10.1944, but it was wrongly considered as 07.06.1941. 4. This Court finds that as per the record, there were several instances, where the document is showing different date of birth of the petitioner. 5. Learned counsel for the respondent has drawn attention of this Court towards Annex.-R1 which is the procedure applicable [2025:RJ-JP:30677] (2 of 2) [CW-5374/2001] in respondent-Corporation for seeking change in name or date of birth. As per learned counsel for the respondent such request can be made by the concerned employee only within a period of five years from the initial date of appointment. 6. In the instant case, the petitioner was appointed in the year 1961 and after his retirement in the year 2001, such request was made on the basis of contradictory documents. 7. Under these circumstances, no interference can be granted and the instant writ petition has been filed by the petitioner, is hereby dismissed. (ANAND SHARMA),J DIVYA /3
