Aggrieved by the said order, the third respondent preferred an appeal under Section 16 of the Act before the first respondent. The first respondent allowed the appeal and cancelled the settlement deed executed in favour of the petitioner’s husband. The said order was upheld by this Court in W.P. No.20797 of 2022 by order dated 13.06.2024. As on date, the matter is pending consideration before the Hon’ble Supreme Court. 4. Having regard to the limited relief now sought, the second respondent is directed to release to the petitioner and her husband all their essential personal belongings recorded in the inventory and kept in the separate room. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of.
