1. This is an ofÏce reference.
2. This Court, vide order dated 03.11.2023, passed in MCRC No. 6778 of 2023, while allowing the bail to the applicants, namely, Adesh Kumar Soni and Rambahadur, had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN
2 date of production of this order, if there was no legal impediment.
3. The learned 3rd Additional Sessions Judge, Surajpur District- Surajpur (C.G) vide his request letter dated 25.01.2025 has requested for grant of some more time for concluding the trial.
4. It transpires from perusal of the PUD that in this case total 27 prosecution witnesses are there and out of which only one prosecution witness has been examined and rest other witnesses are yet to be examined. Considering the number of witnesses, it is likely to take some time for concluding the trial. Therefore, he prays for grant of further more time for concluding the trial.
5. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is
directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of five months from today.
6. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction.
7. Registry is directed to send a certified copy of this order to the trial Court concerned for necessary information and compliance. Sd/-
