JUSTICE MAHENDAR KUMAR GOYAL Order 30/04/2025 Learned counsel for the petitioner confines his prayer in this writ petition only to the extent of non-payment of the litigation cost awarded by the learned Labour Court No.2, Jaipur (for brevity, 'learned Labour Court') vide its award dated 24.10.1998 in LCR No.17/1998. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite the learned Labour Court awarding him the litigation cost of Rs.500/- vide its award dated 24.10.1998, the same has not been paid to him till date. Learned counsel for the respondents is not in a position to dispute that the litigation cost of Rs.500/- awarded to the [2025:RJ-JP:18281] (2 of 2) [CW-609/2002] petitioner vide award dated 24.10.1998 has not been paid to him till date. He fails to furnish any reason for its non-payment. In view thereof, this writ petition is disposed of in following terms:- "(i) The respondents shall pay to the petitioner the litigation cost of Rs.500/- awarded by the learned Labour Court vide award dated 24.10.1998 alongwith interest @ 9% per annum within a period of eight weeks from today failing which the interest shall be leviable @ 12% per annum after the expiry of the period of eight weeks and the officer(s) responsible for delay would bear the enhanced interest."
